“Support for Amy Sheridan for School Board”
Amy Sheridan is a well-qualified candidate for election to the Franklin Regional Board of Directors. Due to a worldwide economy and evolving technologies, our graduates need to be better prepared than ever to be successful in their chosen careers. To achieve this goal, our schools need to produce graduates with strong professional interests. Amy has demonstrated, through her commitment as a wife, a mother and a leader in our community, that she understands what it takes to develop graduates who enthusiastically pursue their future endeavors.
She understands how the use of “hands on, minds on” education programs achieve this outcome. FRSD has been successfully utilizing STEAM (Science, Technology. Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs for this purpose. In addition, music, athletics, and training at career and technical centers are very effective. Our school district needs to grow these in-house programs and better utilize training available outside of our district. Amy will work to achieve these objectives!
As a former board member, I believe that Amy will be highly effective at teaming with board members, administrators, teachers, and staff to prepare our students for tomorrow’s world.
I urge you to vote for Amy on November 4th. She will make a positive difference at FRSD.

I’m writing in support of Amy Sheridan for Franklin Regional School Director. I’ve known Amy and her family for more than a decade. She is ready to work to unite our community around our schools.
As a dedicated volunteer and citizen, she’s devoted a significant amount of time to making our schools better. She’s been a mentor for the robotics team and traveled with the band as a chaperone to both Pearl Harbor and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has also served on the district planning committee and attends school board committee meetings regularly. She knows her stuff: she’s got a background in business and experience with our schools.
Amy is paying attention so she can work to create solutions this community needs. Amy works hard, listens, and is ready to represent our community on the Franklin Regional School Board. Let’s elect her to the FR school board on November 4th.
Sincerely,
Connie Jelovich
“Amy has been attending school board meetings for a long time, and she also shows up to committee meetings such as the curriculum, technology, policy, and finance committee. She would be a great addition to the school board."
